CRAFTY

October has been a crazy crafty month for me. Lots of projects, some for the boutique sale in December and some for personal use. Here are some of my favorite things I've done:

This cabinet was given to me free about 5 years ago and I've been meaning to redo it forever. Finally I found the right paint and color to do it. I LOVE it!!

These are homemade coasters, so easy to make. Selling most of them at the boutique sale...I think they are going to be a big hit!! Working on some pumpkins for Halloween next and some framed items. Fun stuff to come!! I'll be posting all about it!! Happy Crafty Month!!

Slacker

I'm a slacker...I haven't posted in forever and I'm a bad person for that. The time has come. We just got back from a week long vacation to San Diego to visit family and friends. So much fun!! I am worn out completely and work is wearing me thinner. What an emotional day for me when I left. I cried as I pulled away from Ocean Beach and got on the I-8 to head back to Phoenix. There must be a way that I can raise my son there. I have to figure it out soon. This desert is just not for me anymore. Here's some pictures from our trip. Hopefully we will be out there permanent one day...

September...

And the wait begins...our vacation is officially 16 days away, and it can't come soon enough. Work has been crazy for both Sadim and myself (what's new, right?). Now I just have the next two weeks to get prepared for this trip and hope to not forget anything. Baby Sadim is growing so fast, achieves some new milestone on a daily basis and I feel like we are missing it all with our insane schedules. With the holidays coming up, work will most likely slow down and we will be able to spend more time together as a family. I can't wait!! This vacation is well needed and couldn't come at a more perfect time. Let the countdown begin!!

September has been a whirlwind of a month so far. Baby Sadim and I were able to make it out to San Diego once again to meet sweet baby Edyn. She is a beauty!! I couldn't be happier for Chris and Faith. We also were able to go to Sea World, baby Sadim's first time there. He was amazed by Shamu!! Too cute!!

ONE

My baby is one...I cannot believe it...it is not possible...where has the year gone???
Yes, it's true, baby Sadim is ONE. His birthday was July 16, 2011. He had such a great birthday. Celebrated with all of his family and friends and was even lucky enough to have 2 parties. One in California and one in Arizona. Lucky guy!!
I would like to congratulate myself and my husband for also surviving the first year as parents. It had its challenges, but we can't complain. We have the most handsome precious little man to be thankful for!!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Wow, May and June have been crazy!!  Work has been hectic for both Sadim and I.  The baby is growing so fast and ready to take on the world.  Will this ever slow down??  I doubt it. 
We had a wonderful weekend trip to San Diego in May.  Quick, but fun!!  Baby loves it out there, just as much as his mommy does!!  Daddy is another story!

Hope it slows down a little this summer, though I doubt it, we have baby's 1st birthday in a month and a couple of vacations coming up!!  I guess it wouldn't be as exciting if we slowed down!!

Mother's Day

What a special first Mother's Day it was for me!!  Baby boy cut is first tooth!!  He was a little cranky, but not too bad.  I enjoyed my day, movie, pedicure, starbucks and a lovely dinner!!  Couldn't have been better!!  Loving my family!!

Crawling!!!

Our little man is getting so big.  I can't believe he is going to be 9 months old this week.  Time really does fly!  He is up and crawling now!!  He has been attempting to do so for the last few weeks, but finally got up the courage to go for it.  What a nice surprise on mommy's 30th birthday!!

A Day at the Park

We had a great time at the park a couple of days ago.  It was so nice that Sadim had a little time off from work to enjoy some family time.  Baby boy loves the swings!!  Daddy even took him down the slide a few times!!

San Diego Trip - February 2011

Baby and I took a drive out to San Diego for the weekend to visit family and friends.  It was a short but great trip.  Baby Sadim got to see his Grandpa and Grandma Berry, his uncle Chris, his Great Grandma Ciulla and many cousins and friends.  Everyone was so happy to see him.  We can't wait for our next trip out there!!  We miss everyone already!!

6 months old!!

Baby Sadim is 6 months old now!!  He has been sitting up on his own since before he turned 6 months and he is so ready to crawl!!  Can't believe how time flies!!
